The VoltLink connector carries power and BMS telemetry in a single sealed cable. The station recognizes the new capacity within seconds and shows combined runtime in the VoltPak app.

Does it have outlets of its own?+
No. The Expansion Battery is a pure capacity extension. All power delivery goes through the VoltPak station you pair it with.
Can I mix a Station 1000 with an Expansion 2000?+
Yes, but the station's AC ceiling still caps at 2,200 W. You get more runtime, not more power.
What happens if one battery in a chain fails?+
The BMS isolates the failed pack and the station continues running on the remaining chain. The app flags the faulty unit by serial.
