FAQ
Answers, before you ask.
How does expansion pairing work?+
Plug a VoltLink cable into the station and into an Expansion Battery 2000. The station picks up the new capacity within seconds and inherits the full AC output ceiling. Hot-swap is supported.
Can it power a central air conditioner?+
Window units and portable ACs up to 12,000 BTU run fine. Central HVAC with a standard compressor start kit works via the 240 V Smart Home Panel accessory.
Is it loud under heavy load?+
At full 3,000 W output the fans reach 32 dB - about the level of a library. In ECO mode at typical home-backup loads it stays at 26 dB.
How heavy is it with expansion batteries?+
Each Expansion Battery 2000 adds ~45 lb. The station + 2 batteries is ~136 lb total, installed once in place rather than carried daily.
